Students can have their own personal blogs, either individually or in groups. They can do research projects and, in groups, assign roles to each student to add something to the blog. Some can find pictures, sound clips, videos, backgrounds, personal touches, etc.

Technology can be used in the classroom to inspire students to learn through interactive games and activities. Games are available for assessment tools. Some programs help students learn to read by reading to the student. Other programs can help with visual learning, such as architecture or modeling. Students can also use computers to help them find jobs or other opportunities in the community. Technology gives students who are unable to verbalize thoughts and ideas a way to communicate effectively. Students can have pen pals throughout the world by using email and webcams. Technology is available to help people of all ages and disabilities
